Meet Rupert, the Ring-Tailed Lemur who sparked the creation of Wildlife Wonderland. He holds a special place in our hearts and has played a pivotal role in rescuing countless animals. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to provide permanent homes to endangered and aggressive species, and to educate the public about their true nature and the impact of human behavior on the environment.

Rupert was adopted by our founder in 2016 after struggling with infertility. He quickly became an important member of the family and accompanied us everywhere, from grocery stores to school events. It was during one of these events that we realized how little people knew about Ring-Tailed Lemurs and their status in the wild. This inspired us to start educating the public and raising awareness about the challenges of owning exotic animals as pets.

As Rupert reached sexual maturity, he became aggressive towards strangers and we had to limit his interactions to ensure his well-being. This experience helped us understand the difficulties of caring for these animals and motivated us to become a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and providing a permanent home for them.
